Founded by Andrea Grizzle in March, 2001, Summit Built Homes has completed 12 custom homes located in the nicest neighborhoods in the northwest sector of San Antonio near the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Currently Summit is building in Fair Oaks Ranch, Village Green and Anaqua Springs Ranch. The homes range in size from 2,000 sf to 5,000 sf and in price from $250,000 to over $1 million. Andrea personally supervises on-site construction of each custom built home and conducts periodic meetings with each owner as the new home is built. Summit’s goal is listen carefully to the owners’ dreams and then deliver a custom built home that meets or exceeds all expectations.

Andrea’s undergraduate education in urban planning and design, 5 years’ active duty in the U.S. Air Force and 10 years’ experience in home building have laid the groundwork for the key attributes of a Summit custom home:

• Use of the newest products, materials and systems
• Preservation of each home-site with maximum use of existing vegetation and natural features
• Tight scheduling and timely completion of the home

Summit has an excellent corps of subcontractors and artisans with demonstrated expertise in award-winning home design, sophisticated color selections, innovative structural engineering, imaginative drywall finishing, professional trim carpentry, creative tile and masonry work, latest faux painting techniques, energy-efficient construction, bright lighting ideas, state of the art security, video and sound systems, breathtaking pools and spas, and fully-integrated landscaping. Not only are these subcontractors highly-skilled in their respective areas, but they provide continuous input to Summit on “cutting edge” design innovations, product development and energy conservation technology that are incorporated into each new custom home.
